In 2026-2027, a Peacewalk to Jeruzalem will be organized.

Servas took a stand in 2025 to support initiatives for a world without war. We see our values reflected in this Peace Walk and will therefore be participating in this peace march with Servas Belgium & Luxembourg.

A pilgrimage route of approximately 100 km from Eupen to Cologne has been mapped out, and you can join us from May 8 to May 16.

On Sunday, March 29, 2026, we will organize an introduction day, where we will provide information about the Peace Walk and organize several other activities.

Program:
11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Group walk in the Vinderhoutse bossen 
12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Picnic. Bring your own picnic; the bar is open, but only accepts cash payments.
1:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Information about the Peace Walk and how you can participate.
2:00-2:45 p.m. Act ‘Cimetière Chinois’ performed in Dutch by Regine Laverge
Around 3:00 p.m. End

You can get here from Ghent St Pieters station with bus line 9B, from Ghent Dampoort station with bus line 10.
Get off at ‘Mariakerke Post’, then walk 2 km or take the flexbus/carpool.
