With Double bill: Seriously Curious #6, visual artist Johan Geenens and sound artist Hans Beckers presented a wondrous program of image, sound, and imagination at the Bruges Concertgebouw.

 

The concert was a collaboration with Wit.h, an arts collective featuring artists called crip—the defiant term for anyone who deviates from ‘the normal’, whether due to a disability, psychological vulnerability, or any other reason.

 

An artistic performance requires the necessary preparation. As a loyal Servas member, Hans chose to stay with one of the Servas members in Bruges.
