Servas is definitely something for you!

You can be a Servas Member

  • As a Host, you receive Servas members in your home for a maximum of 2 nights (more if you decide so yourself)
  • As a Day Host, you don’t offer them a bed for the night but you are willing to have a cup of coffee together, take a walk with them, show them around in your city, offer them a home cooked meal, …
  • As a Traveler, you can visit Servas members abroad or even in your own country (and you are not obliged to host other members yourself)
  • As a Sympathizer, you don’t travel and you don’t receive Servas members. You support Servas as an organization promoting peace and hospitality.

And of course, you can combine them, or change your membership status at any time!

Once you’ve filled out the contact form,  you’ll be invited for an introductory conversation with a regional coordinator.
Servas is not an anonymous online organization: we consider it important to meet prospective members in person to get to know each other. We further explain how Servas works, and its vision, and answer all your questions.  Afterwards, you can still decide if Servas meets your expectations and whether you want to become a member.
